Manhattan Birth™ is building a library of classes and trainings for birth workers completely online and on-demand, so you can learn with us however busy your schedule may be.
Join us for Adult, Child, and Infant CPR Certification (through the American Heart Association).
This basic life support training is often a requirement for doula certification and is required to participate in benefit reimbursement programs like Medicaid and Carrot.
Geared towards birth workers and taught by Tanya Wills (MSN, LM, CNM, IBCLC) about once per quarter, CPR certification takes place in person at our Upper West Side location in New York City (exact address will be shared after registration). Participants will perform a skills test same-day to get their certification.

Every year, we accept a small cohort of doulas and birth professionals who are ready to launch their birth businesses — all they need is a little direction, some accountability, and support.
The Manhattan Birth Mentor Program provides networking opportunities, advanced training, monthly masterminding groups & a supportive community of successful doulas.
People having babies do not receive adequate holistic and integrative lactation + feeding support or care. That's where YOU, the Integrative Lactation and Feeding Specialist, come in.
We're hosting a unique 10-week program to create a community of lactation and feeding professionals who focus on the goals of the family.

Becoming a midwife is a vulnerable, courageous and chaotic process that goes beyond providing intimate and personalized care to people with uteruses. The training you've received focuses on labor, skills, and assessments, but neglects the self discovery and personal growth necessary to be a genuine leader and care provider.
Midwifery students and new midwives enter a ‘sink or swim’ environment. This is where our mentorship comes in.

Manhattan Birth founder Tanya Wills was called to pursue birth work after a transformative experience giving birth to her son Milo. She changed careers, became a doula, certified-nurse midwife and got her credentials in lactation and more, all the while growing a community of equally passionate birth workers to teach and mentor birth workers like you.
