"I met with Tanya when I was about 25 weeks pregnant. The moment she walked through the door I knew I'd like her. She's so warm and friendly and completely down to earth. Throughout my pregnancy Tanya was there whenever I needed her, and she reassured me in a way that allowed me to completely relax and not start Googling everything. I never felt as though my questions were silly, and she always made sure I had all of the information I needed. Having a home birth really allowed me to trust and believe in myself and having an absolutely brilliant midwife is obviously part of that whole process. I loved my experience with Tanya so much that I'm literally ready to have another baby asap!"

“You made my pregnancy something that I started to enjoy, and the birth something I looked forward to. You saved me from a second round of postpartum anxiety/ depression/ anger. You gave me space for and let me name feelings that I never would have acknowledged...One thing I want you to know: YOUR WORK MATTERS. You made my life better because you were in it. Thank you for everything from the bottom of my heart.”

“Tanya is so personable. She was so gracious to my daughter at each appointment: letting her assist in ‘checking the baby.’ She was only a text away, which was amazing. I felt so safe, secure, and empowered in her care. My birth was amazing and I know a huge reason why was because of how much I could trust her and that she truly trusted me and what my body could do. She respected and honored my body and what it needed to do in birth and at the same time was there and present and available every step of the way. I love how Tanya is real, down to earth, and funny. She brings that to her midwifery practice and that is truly refreshing in this day and age when we are so inundated with fear and disempowering messages about women and birth.”
